This is a History Channel documentary exploring a related possibility

I have the entire series up to where they are now in the 4th season I think it is
I have only watched the first 5 episodes but they were all Incredible !!!
That show is nothing more than a series of insanely speculative "questions" with no relationship to reality: "Could it be that aliens interfered with the development of hominid evolution and helped the Egyptians build the pyramids......."
Possible? Sure, but that possibility is roughly equivalent to the likelyhood of monkeys flying out of my butt as I type this..............and sure enough, no monkeys.
While I'm not ready to say I even think it's possible that I evolved from a lesser life form with the help of aliens, it makes for a good movie concept. Or at least I hope so...
Great story, and thought provoking. Is it possible for an advanced race to deeply influence a younger race? Yeah, and we've done it ourselves with varying degrees of success right here on our own rock. We've also modified plenty of creatures at a genetic level.
But it's still science fiction for me. We've never created life in a lab. We've just presented conditions favoring development of organisms in the way we wanted at different stages to provide an anticipated outcome. We can mold it, but we can't create it.
I'd better stop my rant while I can. I don't know how far we will advance ourselves over time, but I just can't except that we or any other race will ever create life from nothing.
Disclaimer: Not saying what anyone should believe, just saying what I do.
Who is to say that there are not civilizations out there that are not billions of years old.
They could be the size of insects on earth or the size of a building...The variance in size and intelligence of living things on this planet is broad. What would it be like on other worlds......
If it is true that life came for some other place, then it is possible all life in space came from one place at some point, that if of course life can just spontanesly exist due to certain conditions magically arising or not . If there is any life at all most of it would probably be fungus..Making it more likely that Intelligent fungus beings building a space ship to visit earth and hang out on holiday but we wouldn't know it. But if the earths and the heavens were at one point together it might be impossible to know what that was like with out a time machine cause the physics of the universes at that point would have been not so aged and vibrantly not so physical.
@artyoh
I don't know if alien interference developed humanoids or helped building the piramids. It's possible, monkey's flying out of your ass isn't.
To be honest, it's a lot more plausible than what most religions and their believers see as the real truth.

Sorry... It is really, really hard to have a straight face when you are attempting to dicipher what a d-bag sporting a "Londo Mollari" 'do is saying.
I understand But that series is Brilliant IMO and I have them all and it is so informative to watch and understand the theories, because they all IMO...I SAY IN MY OPINION ONLY...MAKE TEN TIMES MORE SENSE THEN ANY RELIGIONS DO.
