Here's a possible outline for a sequel to Alien Resurrection. I'll release it in parts, so as not to swamp you with it all at once... P.S. Wait for the reveals and the twist at the end. Cast Ripley 8 - Sigourney Weaver Annalee Call - Winona Ryder Johner - Ron Perlman Vriess - Dominique Pinon Major Stephen Clancy - Stephen Lang (Colonel Miles Quaritch in Avatar) Dr. Michael Charles - Iain Glenn (Dr. Samuel Isaacs in Resident Evil Apocalypse/Extinction) Earth, 2394 (15 years after Alien Rez), masked and armed USM soldiers are seen gunning down a running refugee in a back alley. Examining the tattered clothes on the refugees dead body they uncover a military USM uniform, the name badge states "Di Stephano". Meanwhile, a hooded figure mingles among the crowd of a bustling market selling scrap metal, contaminated fruit and veg, and grilled rats. At one of the stalls the hooded figure picks up a jerrycan with the word "MILK" scratched on it and throws two packs of cigarettes to the stalls owner, whom nods in acceptance. The hooded figure tilts back their head as they guzzle down the curdling milk, their hood dropping to reveal Annalee Call. Elsewhere, A scrap parts assembled motorbike pulls up outside a western style saloon, spluttering to a stop. The rider, draped in many layers of wornout clothes dsimounts his ride and enters the saloon, sitting at the bar. The bartender pours him a glass of dirty water, filled with sediment, and an oil film resting on the surface. The Rider, his hood up, places a six shooter pistol on the bar, spins it and pushes it towards the bartender. The bartender takes the pistol and the glass, returning with a clean glass of bourbon. The Rider gulps down the bourbon before lowering his hood and asking the bartender in a raspy, deep voice "I need a mechanic." The Rider is revealed to be Johner. The Bartender replies "Up the road, but watch it he's expensive." Johner leaving the saloon walks up the road to the double doors of the mechanics garage, a painted sign "Grease Monkey". Johner tries the man sized door to the garage and enters into the darkened interior, creaking on floorboards and banging into empty tins and jars. As Johner looks back towards the door he feels the unmistakable impression of a sawed off double barrel shotgun in his back. Rolling his eyes as if in disappointment, Johner spins round disarming his would be attacker, and turning their weapon against them. Overcome with shock Johner laughs hysterically, as his attacker, wheelchair bound Vriess also shocked exclaims "Johner?" Before their reunion can be celebrated in any way a team of masked and armed USM soldiers crash through the garages skylights, and almost effortlessly disarm and capture Vriess and Johner. In the doorway the silhouette of the soldiers commanding officer is seen, his longcoat waving in the breeze and a cigar held in his mouth. Back at the Market we see Call wiping her face and selling the jerrycan back to the stall owner, whom lets her have two partly rotten apples in return. As Call bites into one of the apples (placing the other in her pocket) she turns and sees a tall hooded figure exiting a building, looking to and fro cautiously. Call, raising her hood, immediately spurred into action follows the hooded figure from a distance through the market. Eventually the hooded figure realises they are being followed and quickens their pace, Call chases after them before losing them at a junction. Glancing back and forth Call looks for the hooded figure backing towards an alley way. A hand grabs Call and pulls her into the alley way, slams her against the wall and throws down her hood, before stepping back in surprise. The hooded figure drops their hood, revealing Ripley 8 "Call, you stupid bitch, what are you doing here?" Call, concern in her voice "Your in danger, Distephano, he...". Ripley, anxious now, cuts her off "I know, and you've just led them to me!" Call, confused exclaims "I wasn't followed. I know I -". Before Call can finish her sentence the now familiar masked and armed USM soldiers converge on the alley way. Ripley 8 and Call defend themselves as the soldiers attack using close quarters unarmed combat. Call is easily subdued, but Ripley is able to incapacitate two of the soldiers before also being subdued. Call and Ripley caught, the commanding officer steps into the scene, puffing on his cigar. To Ripley 8 "Well, well, well, I would've thought you'd go down harder than that Officer". Call, angry and struggling "Who the fuck are you?" The commanding officer, signals to his men with his free hand. As the soldiers use the butt of their guns to knock Call and Ripley 8 unconcious, the commanding officer replies "Your new master, bitch."

You sparky are more than welcome, I have been a fan of Ron's since he played Vincent so I may have biasedly made him more of a hero than intended, but I am glad you liked it. the question is, which no-one seems to have answered yet, did anyone spot the hidden gems I stashed away in there - untied loose ends, unexplained references etc.

LOL. Although it would make sense for JPJ to film such a sequel, I personally would prefer Jim or Dave. In an ideal world.

Here is Section #1 of my initial "Easter Egg" report From Part 1: ~>Just Discovering DiStaphano Alive to start it off is an Easter Egg to me! LOL. From Part 2: ~>"The referenced expression "Robo-Chump". That whole scene made me think of the Paul Verhoven film "Robocop" and Karren Allan's relationship in it with Peter Wellers Robo-Cop! I have the Criterian "X" Rated version of that film before it was cut 50 or 60 some odd times by the suits! From Part 3: ~>"Titan Max-Security" I have no idea why that expression is ringing so many bells in between my ears but it's bugging the crap outta me so it must be an Easter Egg of some kind I am not getting! From Part 4: The Whole Explanation thingy for "How They See" for me is an Easter Egg somehow cause it's just so deep and yummy !!! More to follow !!! Easter-Egg report Section 2: Part 5: No Eggs Found. Although just the fact that Johner gets another crack in at least when asking Ripley to play Basketball with him... and for me, that's cathartic enough to be one. I also Loved the expansive spread out door hives in the Dream Sequence. Part 6: "Royal-Jelly" - The makers of the film actually had to use K-Y-Jelly to enhance the Alien mouth/jaw effects... so that right there... is a MAJOR Easter-Egg !!! While they were filming Alien they used TONS of K-Y Jelly for Alien Close Up special effects, and they even had 2 guys running around during each "Take". I also just loved when Ripley realizes she herself is at least partly made of metal, which was/is a CLASSIC WRITTING "device" which is used commonly in Sci-Fi stories to garner sympathetic support from the reader for the protagonist. It's the Old story of the Android realizing it is NOT really human, yet wants to be, or in this case a Human that is realizing she is no longer human but rather part Android and is maybe not the same anymore as she once was. That she's been permanently altered through science. In this case...Evil Science. Part 7: "Gloves"...another cute little sly reference to one of the opening scenes in resurrection where Ripley is discovered to have "synaptic dissonances" handed down to her by the Alien through generations of development. She is doing one of those Ink Blot style tests and id's a Glove. Part 8: “Synthetic replication of her pheromones should be complete within…” This idea is the key to the entire plot...& the Easter-Egg is that in the fact that we learned in the game "Aliens Versus Predator" created by Sega and which was ported to the PS3 among other consoles we discover that The Xenomorph's ability to SEE although without any eyes is achieved through their own natural ability to detect human secreted chemical compounds called "pheromones". "I was wrong, so wrong". An obvious Easter-Egg and reference to Prometheus itself and the Derelict's signal, whatever that turns out to have been. Part 9: The Resurrection of ASH, how much more "Easter-Egg" can I get ? To Be Continued!

Eater-Egg report Section 3: Part 10: Just the Synthetic Soldiers themselves are an Easter-Egg, they did not appear in any of the 4 original films but rather the video game I mentioned earlier... SEGA's "Aliens VS Predators". yet Another sly reference to Resurrection... "...and looks at them, almost comically, “Hey you guys!” Behind them Ripley 8 punches an arm into each, reaches inside and grabs their spines housing their neural relays before crushing them, deactivating the synthetic soldiers..." {Similar to her blowing a queen to bits with a shotgun after appearing from beneath it in Resurrection.} "...As Ripley smiles back something erupts from Calls chest. It stretches the fabric of Calls top before eventually tearing through. The head of the grappling rope opens just before the Major, instigator of the attack retracts the cord. Call is jolted backward from Ripley 8’s reach but manages to grab the bottom of the ramp with one hand..." So strikingly reminiscent of our first real "ALIENS" film Easter-Egg...It's Bishops death via Xeno-Tail all over again !!! Part 11: Just a note, I liked that you started it off on the Raven with a reference to the "Red Laser Scanning Pen and Triangle" type display. This type of space design always reminds me of the whole Ancient Alien and Pyramid theories and just creates such a cool atmosphere IMO. Ripley 8 "Waeves" out of the way...very very funny and hidden, nice Easter-Egg reference to Sigourney. Part 12: Got nothing left to say, except the ending you wrote should go down in science fiction history of the End Of The Female Hero In The Sci-Fi Flick Era. Amazing Job "Snorky" I am sure there are things buried deep in there that I am just never going to find without your pointing them out!!! But for me those are the ones that stuck out the most !!! ~Sparty@SnorkleBottomsPrometheusParty!

Well its been a while since I wrote this sparky but some of the ones you missed are... 1. Hey you guys is actually a reference to The Goonies, Classic Film 2. The Paris event is a reference to the alternate ending for Alien Rez 3. The Major says something like "after 500 years", which would mean he is referencing the start of the twentieth century (can you figure out what that means) 4. The Queen having a 8 on her forehead is a reference to the AVP game by sega 5. The Royal Jelly is a reference to the dark horse comics, as are the synth soldiers and the phermones Also there is a deeply hidden one regards the old computer panel-signal-derelicts, can you figure that one out too

The Paris Event I got but it seemed to easy to be an Egg, never the less it is one and I was wrong, I learned just now that nothing small should be written off as insignificant without thinking long and hard about it first. I will try on that last one and get back to ya!!! Tx.

Snorkelbottom said - I have just finished turning the document of this into a screenplay Really? That's great. It would be so neat if Sigourney could see it for herself sometime, as I really think she'd get a kick out of it. I've recently read a couple of articles where she felt that things 'unfinished' at the end of ALIEN RESURRECTION, and that she'd be very interested in tying things up a bit better, even though she's older now. More to be added here. (problems posting, so just adding a bit at a time)

At the bottom of page 4, Snorkelbottom said - 'I have just finished turning the document of this into a screenplay' Really? That's great! It would be so neat if Sigourney herself could get to see this sometime, as I've recently read a couple of articles where she said that things felt 'unfinished' at the end of ALIEN RESURRECTION...and that she'd be very interested in reprising the role to tie-up things up a bit better, even though she's older now. If she was offered the chance again that is, although she thinks that's unlikely to happen. Personally, I reckon she'd still be as watchable as ever in the role despite her age, and your particular storyline allows for the 'older' aspect to be explained away as merely the ongoing 'regeneration process' of the 'Ripley clone 8' as she heads towards her final 'transformation' anyway, lol. And from the various comments I came across, there's plenty of fans out there who'd be happy to see her in the role once more too, regardless of her age. Of course, PROMETHEUS takes the franchise in a different direction at this point, but if it proves a big success, then who knows? Although highly unlikely, I'd definately welcome seeing Sigourney get one more crack at a 'Ripley clone 8' storyline again. And while some may like ALIEN RESURRECTION's unresolved 'open-ending', I'd certainly like to see it's character's fates play out in the manner you've come up with! Hey, I can but hope...
