I think I watched them all so far. I Kept trying to see if I could deduce something about Prometheus from Ridley's scribbles : ) Watching these gives us a good idea about what Ridley enjoys about scifi! EDIT: Crap didn't see the H G Wells one yet...

They are missing a few on youtube, I really want to see the one of the guy who wrote "Stranger in a strange land". I'll look for them later so I can create deductions about Prometheus.. lol.

@danrald Robert.A.Heinlein, wrote Stranger in a strange land,also wrote Starship Troopers I believe? The book gave more of an insight into the "bugs" mind set and the comparisons/similarities of human and bug ambitions and politics

Ridley only introduces each episode. He really doesn't do much overall.

Being the executive producer and creator of the show I think it is safe to say he holds great sway over the stories being told. Also it seems just a bit too coincidental that he himself created this show just before his foray back into science fiction premieres. I think this is an outlet for him to explain what he drew inspiration from and why.
