Disk over Waterfall – Ancient Eclipse
The flying disk is large enough to eclipse the sun for an area of onlookers on the ground.
Ancient people were terrified of eclipses.
They did not know how long (if ever) the sun would re-appear.
Eclipses have been noted in ancient writings.
Those who understood the movements of celestial bodies and could predict solar and lunar eclipses were held in high esteem.
Just an odd thought.
