Fantastic post plus it finally puts to bed a much discussed scene. During the carnage in the cargo hold the mutated/ infected crew member jumps down and throws another across the room. It has been much debated that he is mutating with extended limbs, changing into a classic space jockey maybe. However in this excellent quality slo-mo it is quite clear that his limbs are in normal proportions....thats the end of that one !

I seem to remember there was some discussion regarding two similar images from the cargo hold; the mutated / infected crew member throwing another across the room. One image was showing the crew member with normal arms, while another image of the same frame showed elongated arms (with elongated fingers as well, from what I recall). Someone suggested post-production digital editing/alteration, but I don't remember exactly.

oooooh....really GREAT clip...! watching it this way, not only can one fixate on the action going on, but also the awesome attention to detail in both the costume and brilliant looking set design, not only for the alien planet LV224, but also the PROMETHEUS craft itself and the music was just about perfect thank you for posting this. wow..!

@Space Jockstrap Actually, in the full trailer he is mutated with extended limbs. People aren't confused because the scenes go by too fast, they are confused because there are two different versions of that clip.

i did watch it today ...its fantastic

really great..interesting by effect when any defined words or sounds just dissolve into rooms of noise..;)..reminds somehow of great films like koyaanisqatsi.. that basic dark feeling I´d like to have in Pro in general..;)

amazing clarity at 2:28 when we see the tail-end of the worm moving up somebodies sleeve!!

Just noticed something, don't know if it has been spotted before, but if you watch from 2:40 onwards when Prometheus is landing, you can spot multiple temples/derelicts

Good spot 123, I can make out four more temple/ sites in identical configeration.....very interesting
