Supposedly the Alien universe androids are fake (not sure about Cal), they just pretend to display emotion when all they are really doing is giving the illusion of it In terms of AI science, there is a form of true AI with consciousness, but not in this case...and considering David was made before Ash...Jeez...the A-1 always were very twitchy
