Just found this over at IMDB. One of the users emailed an exec at the MPAA. Seems fairly legit. Take a look:

I call bs on that, I doubt the email would be entitled "Prometheus Rating Issue"!
In fairness though - I think we all know it's gonna be PG13 - Ridley has more or less confirmed it.
Most likely bullshit, but as others have said, the film is still most likely going to be PG-13. As long as an R rated and longer version is released on Blu Ray later on, Im cool with it.
