47! = I got onto the cinema underage to watch Alien first time round. Thus spawning my interest in sci-fi for life!

I would speculate that the older than average sci-fi fan base is a big part of whats making this site successful

29. Seen alien when I was about 10. Unfortunately I watched it AFTER I watched Aliens a few years earlier.

39 I saw Alien first- when it was released on HBO. Probably 1980 or '81, maybe? Then I saw Aliens at the theaters the first weekend it was released.

37, your average Alien fan. This means that in about 20-30 years nostalgic fans of Transformers will be anticipating the return of Michael Bay to the franchise. "Ah, those were good movies, not the dumb crap we see today..." *shudder*

im 28 but i tell everyone im 25. i am constantly mistaken for a teenager though -_- i was carded at a movie theater a couple years ago and they refused to let me in an R rated film because i forgot my I.D :/ apparently my tattoos and peircings wasnt enough proof.
