Buy why would that be any [i]more[/i] mysterious than it would be, anyway? Seems to me that would just be, "Secret Mission", standard procedure and certainly what I would expect to happen: everyone on a need to know basis; as few as possible know - and the rest get briefed on touchdown. That's how you keep secrets, secret.

It's after awakening. I think much like A.1, we'll be shown the "Awakening" right at the beginning of the movie, right after the Shaw Holloway on earth montage that we've seen a million times in the trailers.

I'm thinking this happens before they go on the mission. This presentation would be "the fellowship" of sorts, and It would make sense to brief your team before putting them in cryo-stasis for five years.

i'm going to guess, the first 15 mins of the film will be dedicated Shaw / Holloway's discovery of the last pictogram that convinces Weyland Industries to bring them aboard for this secret mission the presentation they make with that Rubiks Cube type device is done on the floor of PROMETHEUS' hanger deck, and is done so well after everyone has been awoken from the long stasis then (possibly) Vickers has a private meeting with Shaw / Holloway where we see her lay down the law in regards to no contact with the "beings", from there on out, the ground mission begins at least, that is what i can deduce so far

I cant help thinking this scene is very close to the one in AVP,the less said about that the better

good question, I was asking this myself, too. When the briefing scene is after awakening, its a secret mission with a hired crew, what ties it to the Alien cannon. In the trailer in the briefing scene, the guy with the glasses on the right has a hooded sweater on, so maybe hes still a bit cold from the stasis..Then Shaw and Halloway are getting briefed by Vickers.

Or, on the ship, but prior to going down in stasis. Maybe. Don't suppose the order matters a great deal, but I'd guess a scene or two between Shaw and David prior to the crew going to sleep--just to set things up, make people wonder about David's intentions while studying Shaw . I'd guess those initial scenes would be on the ship, but who knows.

How is this a mystery to anyone? When they showed the first 15 minutes of the film to that select audience a few weeks back that is what happened. They woke everyone up and then had the briefing. This is not a supposition - it is a known fact at this point.
