hey guys, forgot to make this post before, now that we know the movie is on LV-223 i am apologizing for disagreeing with anyone who thought it wasn't in 426. sorry lol you were right :)

At least you aren't still clinging to the belief (probably erroneous) that LV-223 is LV-426, and that the derelict ship which crashes in Prometheus is same ship which is discovered by the Nostromo later. Like I am. It's just so simple, and wrapped up in a pretty bow that way.

well they made it kind of obvious that it was lv-426, you know the crashing derelict, the ringed planet in the background, it was hard to think otherwise.

You are preaching to the choir. However, what has me seriously doubting is that the Jockey Gun Room platform in Alien is totally different in appearance than that shown in Prometheus- no sarcophagi.

i personally feel that that is just to make it new modern. if you look at the alien films, the actual look of the alien changes quite a bit, and not for the better let me tell you. so why cant the same be said for the ship?
