UK / USA Release dates - Posting rules?

I agree-no offense but living in Chicago I don't anyone from anywhere to blow anything.Maybe the staff can start a seperate forum.Also,after I see it,I will be here talking about as well.

Start a different forum lol. Can you honestly say that people wont get soooooooooo curious? Personally i think that many who have seen the movie wont bother returning to this fantastic site anyway.........i guess only the die harders will.....and being die harders they will uphold the unwritten rule of not sharing the story. Its inevitable though isnt it? People cant help themselves. If they truly do not want spoilers in anyway......theyll just stay off site for a few days rather than punish the peeps that have seen the movie and want to discuss how right they al were lol. Anyway....its not this site they should worry about its the REST of the media......how do you shut THEM up lol?

It will be sorted in the next couple of weeks, as the movie is ACTUALLY shown to people, BugHunter will be setting up a spoiler-ific side of the forum for people to discuss what they've seen, the other part will be for those of us that haven't seen it. So don't go stressing that you'll have spoilers thrown at you. Or, you could simply go offline for a week before you see it. That's what I'll be doing.

Although I am pretty sure that the regulars here will adhere to a honour code and will not post any spoilers, I have the feeling that there is going to be a wave of new subscribers who will sign up right after the movie to share their views and start discussions about what they have seen (usually in good faith). Beware of those!

*This is a public service announcement* - If you DON'T want to risk ANYONE totally ruining ALL the various plotlines of PROMETHEUS for you...then DON'T frequent either here or ANY potential sites on the internet from May 31st onwards that could give things away, until you've had a chance to view the movie for yourself. There's always going to be SOMEONE who spoils it/reveals it all on some topic or site, so I'm certainly going to be avoiding that possibility at all costs!

I honestly don't think diehard fans or other good people could spoil everything for others, but since every internet site has their trolls.. Then I'll avoid potencials sites and I recommend others to do the same. That week is going to be very hard.

I for one am looking forward to coming in here after the June 8th screening and completely ruining this film for anyone who lives in "Harghita County, Transylvania" !!!

I think it's gonna be tough call ... as Cypher said Bug Hunter is sorting out a NEW Forum Section on here just for that ... new fans & trolls WON'T bother going to the right sections, of the forum, for posting ... they'll dump their text anywhere where there's a lot of people listening ... I can actually see the number of fans doubling quite easily AFTER the showings have started ... that's gonna be one hell of a rush of people to police ... ;) ...

Hey Brits....don't forget that French - and Italians living near the border like me who will go to Nice - will actually see the movie before you do.....so beware of spoilers you guys too! (no worries, I won't post anything that will spoil the movie,at all)
