At 2:39 of the new featurette thingummy, when Shaw is running in her kecks, you can see (on the right hand side of the screen) the arm sticking out of the copper spacesuit, do we know anymore about what its doing there?

So, i imagine this shot is after she's had her abortion thingy and is now being chased by someone/something as she's headed to the spacesuit room, i imagine she's either trying to get back down on the planet or a trusty airlock?

I know there have been discussions about this suit before, but I don't remember what the outcome was. For me, I can't think what it would be for. Maybe, due to its bulk, some kind of suit incase of depressurization? Or for exploring underwater? It's odd because there seems to be only one, while there are plenty of the other models hanging up. I don't know why there would be just one, and for it to be so much different.
Watch this youtube video, it's an interview with RS and if you look in the background of the room they're in it'll answer your question about that suit... kind of.

good video. i believe, unless otherwise used in the film, the copper suit might just be for decoration aboard the spacecraft. my reasoning on this is, aboard the USS Chancellorsville (United States warship), they have a display case with actual civil war artifacts in it.
