read the Lindelof interview (different thread and the best insight ive seen so far from anyone, including Ridley interviews)....he seems to be aware of trailers that show pretty much the whole movie and loses the whole mystery of a film before youve even seen it....but perhaps he is talking to the general public, rather than fan forums that can screen cap every split second flash and scene....still gives me some hope

Everything popping up is 'Ridley Premieres This....", "Ridley Spills Sensational That...". IMO, he's the one holding the marketing reigns...100%.

Fox has marketing rights. They are releasing the info and updating the corporate websites

makes sense, especially since Ridley was a lead television commercial designer who made 2,500 + tv commercials in the 90's according to an interview i watched on you-tube about him.

With Alien..Ridley had the advantage of almost complete surprise...this time he doesnt have that..he has misdirection and it's being used very effectively
