If you want some badass music that was built for alien and Prometheus listen to meshuggah, songs like demiurge, nebulous and the cover of the live DVD even looks like the cover of alien! m/

I would also recommend Triptykon (album cover by giger) and Celtic Frost's Monotheist (the same guy, different band) with it's song Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh which sounds like its about this movie almost specifically. Hammerpede would be a KILLER name for a metal band, song, or album.
Hmmmmmmm. Being of Goth persuasion, Meshuggah definitely fits. But, so could quite a few other bands..............................

Celtic Frost's second album To Mega Therion from 1985 also has cover art done by Giger. Think the piece is called Satan.
