Some very interesting information about the SJ in here. Not to mention..
"The costume had magnetic holes on which you could attach removable elements for a scene which I cannot speak about."
"We created a significant aging of one of the characters...the actor was chosen five weeks before shooting."

I always assumed they were going to go with CG overlays for the biomechanical features of the SJs.......was really surprised to learn that they apparently went with rather complicated prosthetics. I'm [i]very[/i] curious to see how they made that work to produce a biomechanics in motion effect.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, very interesting. I was dismayed to read that they are changing the design of Giger's stuff for no apparent reason though... from organic bone-like designs to more mechanical structures - just for the sake of changing it. I hate that shit.
