ALIEN/ALIENS

I hear you. Starting to finally come down from my massive disappointment. For the last few days I've been feeling like I've been dumped by my girlfriend! But I'm coming out of it now. Time to move on. Best way is to forget about your old girlfriend and look ahead. And so with Prometheus I will start to forget it was ever going to be the masterpiece that I hoped it would be, Alien and Blade Runner were flukes and that it wasn't for me anyway! It will become just another film. A half decent enjoyable Sci-Fi romp/blockbuster that I will almost certainly watch again ...... At some point ....... Maybe when it's on TV at Christmas.

I'm still massively annoyed. Ironically I remember hardly anything from the film, just a few snippets here and there. It will be on Sky soon enough so I will wait until then before giving it another try. Perhaps there will be a directors cut by the end of the year that might make it worth while. We can hope

i've tried forcing myself to like prometheus, but to no avail... it's just plain bad.
