However, in the lifeboat at the end, the Alien did look like a tall man in a rubber suit struggling to get up from the floor.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent

Yes I agree wirh you @zzplural the original xenomorph at times did look like a man in a suit. But in my opinion that made the creature more interesting. That part of the creature looked humanoid in body form. But the rest of the Xeno was a mix of different types of insects. All in all the original Xenomorph design is amazimg.

MemberOvomorphOct-08-2012 7:41 AMI agree, the xeno design is probably hard to better. But there were a couple of dodgy moments in the Narcissus that really should have been edited out or re-shot. Only a couple, mind. One other terrible edit that springs to mind is, of course, the cut to Ash's decapitated head on the table.

MemberOvomorphOct-08-2012 10:41 AMThe deathscene with Lambert is definitely some of the most scary Alien movement ever. I know the deleted stuff from that scene looked a bit weird, but still to me is some of the scariest footage. The crabwalk looked a bit odd, but i still feel it's terrifying. Also that nice shot from the side where you see it slowly standing up in front of her.
here is the deleted footage in decent quality:

Agreed... did no one notice how shoddy this looked before the final editing was done?? lol
