Green Stone and The Orrery

When watching a scene with David walking across the Orrey it struck me that it's design at first glance was similar to the Green Stone's table top. The Orrery's floor did seem more flat than the Stone's top..but the way it was sectioned off.seemed too close to be a random design. Also the Green Stones function(if has not been established, I suggest that it was transferable to the Orrery and can be used to display various star maps to the Engineeers..special..secret maps that for some reason are important to them In any case the floor and table top design seem similar,,and imply a connection.
