Paradise having pyramids.

Well, Ridley could really go to town with the design elements in the Paradise homeworld. Many unused concepts & ideas for Alien/Star Beast were used in Prometheus, so I think that's highly likely Anunnaki, especially given that pyramids are a feature of just about every ancient civilisation!

Certainly some ancient structures will be involved, and a big hope for some Giger landscapes. I just hope it doesn't look entirely like the Matrix, that will be a big disappointment

I doubt there will be any walls, actually. Paradise will be a place without a need for walls.

I just hope the connections won't be [i]too[/i] obvious. But I do think there would have to be certain similarities, if we are to understand that the Engineers provided more than chemical mutations on our road of evolution. The designer ( Arthur Max, I hope) would want to consider our primitive ability to replicate Engineer design, meaning if we do see similarities, the Engineer versions would be staggering by comparison. The Domes seem like a down and dirty solution to provide structure using local materials, rather than advanced architecture. Barren moon igloos. Also it seems the domes were machines first, terraforming devices, which would have informed their shape relative to, say, a living space.

Well, the film is based on the Annunaki, therefore, it is likely that we will see references to ancient temples. But while I agree with Major Noob. Arthur's team has done a great job with the designs, and surely they can do a little of everything: with statues, urns, cylinder seal, all kind of Engineer's art, vessel with GM (Giger Matter), etc. I have faith in them.

Paradise will be a kind of Nibiru in a way since its the Anunnaki/Nefilim story but still Ridley Scott and Giger will put their material in. That's what I find really bad ass about it. Its a good mix between the Alien parts and certain aspects of Ancient Astronaut theory.

I dont think they will have the story based on who the Anunnaki.... but maybe that a faction of a certain race (Engineers, Elders) are what early mankind interpreted as Anunnaki and thus from that from age to age like Chinese whispers other cultures and religions get warped and twisted so they are not like the Anunnaki tale but share many similarities. What i am saying is it will be based more on the Anunnaki than other religions but i dont expect it to be a exact re telling of the Anunnaki tale. As far as Pyramids and Temples, yes i think we will see many. Also Alien was based off Star Beast and a lot of unused ideas, plans and concepts from Star Beast that never made i to Alien, did get featured in Prometheus, well stuff in Prometheus some of it was based off those unused concepts etc. Likewise Prometheus had a number of unused concepts and ideas that may make a appearance in Paradise.

Gentlemen, I think you aren't asking the right questions. If Paradise is to be "the place we go when we die", in the movie, it won't be just an engineer's home world, like any civilization. It will be a frankly magical place, where supernatural forces do many things, among them bring souls there so we can expect for Shaw to meet her father, for instance.

I dont think its going to be like that in terms of magical but maybe the supernatural but in a physics sort of way. It needs the right touch to make Paradise freakin awesome. I wouldnt mind seeing old ideas like what BigDave said having more Star Beast elements like more carvings and cuneiform glyphs. Maybe show Engineer tombs like have a place where the Elders are buried. Then have huge sarcophagi containing their long dead remains going back eons.

Well there has to be more to the connection between Xeno and Engineers... I cant seem them just being a Bio Weapon, well not the origins to the Organism and Black Goo. So hopefully we will see some more carvings, murals etc that could hint to a connection. We know the Engineers seed life with the Black Goo, but why? Does this mean they can not reproduce? We saw the frail Elders in the deleted scene, maybe this shows that the Engineers do Age, just at a slower rate... But then how was the younger ones created and why.... So even if we dont see any alive Engineers etc, which i think we would... i hope there are Pyramids with clues to the above questions.... One things for sure did Ridley not say he was disappointed about the look of the Elders and that they did not appear to be as powerful and Godlike has he may now intend... If so thats a good reason to leave that scene out, so i would not rule out a redesign of the Ereators/Elders. And i expect there to be many monuments in celebration of these Elders and their creators and creations.
