97% on RT for The Martian. Bodes well for P2?

Im loving that The Martian is reviewing well, really happy for Ridley and a big finger to all those "he's getting old" pessimists. He's a great f**king artist, sorry if his art doesn't speak to you personally. Whatever. Not you, sp_jockey, just all the smug web heads who attack because everyone else is dong it. I wasn't real excited about The Martian for numerous reasons but to have it generating such acclaim only intensifies my excitement for P2! Whether its success will open up more funding is anyone's guess, but I certainly hope so! R originally wanted something like 250 million and 2 1/2 hours runtime for Prometheus. Imagine that.

I'm so happy for Ridley! It's really master of science fiction.

God I hope its for real an amazing film I always go see every Ridley film even if its got 0 percent on rotten. A parallel for me is gravity - everyone raved about it and I just thought it was pretty boring well made but not a classic by any means. Hope this is not the case here... And that is the thing some films get top marks on rotten then are bloody awful so I hope this is not the case anyway ill be seeing it of course. 

Sorry Major but Ridley has been misfiring pretty bad as of late but not many people actually one want it they want him to come back into form and hopefully he has just at the right moment for prometheus here :D !

Ok I am now getting excited people are saying how real this movie is which is what hes been missing recently this guy chimes my thoughts : 

They should get the writer on to prometheus 2 :O !!

Looking Good for Ridley..... Martian seems a interesting and very well done movie....

Prometheus had flaws... visually and sound wise it was very well done, few flaws here and there and some of the unused prob work looked great....  Fifield was a disapointment, i was not 100% keen on the Deacon but i could understand its appearence if we consider we are looking at a Human/Xeno DNA Hybrid... and thats what they was trying to show us, pretty much like the New Born from Alien Resurection which again was just not Scary or Alien looking enough....

Main Problem was Scale again of our Engineers, i wonder if by Prometheus 3 they would be using Verne Troyer as a supposed 5ft tall Engineers lol....

But the Scale can be fixed, and Ridley knows that the things in Prometheus did not have that WOW or Scare Factor that fans of Alien had hopped for.... He had his hands tied with Prometheus with many things as FOX had a lot of say so....

But Fox would no doubt understand the Critisim and Disapointments some had with the first movie, and i am sure they would be allowing Ridley much more freedom to go and Finish this Tale 

And i have very high Hopes for Prometheus Series... and The Martian looks a interesting movie.
