If David is indeed the creator of the xenomorph/protomorph/neomorph, aside from playing god, what exactly is he trying to achieve?Would he hijack the Covenant, and bring his deadly cargo home?Is he creating an army meant for mankind's destruction?

I don't know what to think of David, I'm not a fan of Prometheus, he just did way too much shady shit in that movie to ever really know what's going on with him. I could sit here and speculate but I just don't know what the fuck he's gonna do and that's kind of exciting in a messed up way.

I agree lol.I personally love Prometheus and David was the best part. This is something I've been wondering about for a while now.

Yeah it's gonna be crazy, all the possibilities, 10 years on Paradise what could David not have done.

My very first topic,i stated that he's likely exterminated all the engineers, and likely also turned them into his test subjects.I also have a theory that the Covenant may not be the first ship to arrive there.

Yeah I see that for sure, I hear most people saying that this Paradise isn't where the Covenant is on it's way to but whether a distress signal or whatever is why they go, probably David luring people there?

The idea is that a ship went looking for the Prometheus on LV-223 which we know is about 2 years out from earth. In that time David would have likely been on paradise for a while. The ship possibly picks up a "distress" beacon and arrives on paradise and David turns them into experiments as well.

That's cool, so then why does the Covenant end up going there?

Well what is your theory? Cause I think most people think the Covenant is bound for somewhere else initially.

Well they say the Covenant is journeying to Paradise to colonize it.The idea of the ship looking for the Prometheus is perhaps kept a secret.I guess it's official canon that Peter Weyland and David both know about LV-426 And it's distress beacon as well. They could have mistaked paradise for that. And of course there's the theory that paradise is LV-426.I realize there are a lot of holes in this theory lol.

The Covenant's destination i believe is indeed Paradise. If not Paradise then I'm not sure where there initial destination would be.A possible mistake in destination perhaps?Sort of like The Wrath of Khan."THIS  IS SETI ALPHA 5!"

The idea of Paradise is sort of biblical. They arrive on this planet thinking it's this lush wonderful world to colonize only to realize that there's evil just beneath the surface.Paradise not being there initial destination is still possible if you consider the possibility of greedy corporate tricks at play. When they awaken from cryo sleep they may be informed that they've reached their destination only to find out that they've been diverted. It's highly likely there's a character on board with an agenda like Ash,Burke, and Vickers.

Time will tell.If there is distress beacon coming from paradise then i'd say that reinforces this theory.David must want off world to deliver his creation elsewhere in the universe.

Or maybe David just likes to lure unexpecting travelers to a gruesome fate.He might as well be the God of Paradise, those who visit are at his mercy.

Very true, there's no telling what David is capable of.

I can't understand how people think David made the Egg or Xenos, the Eggs in Alien are as old as what backfired on LV-223. Aliens killed the Engineers but it was never said out right but the evidence was clear as day.

It's so much that he did, more like if he did.To me that derelict on LV-426 is ancient.
