Soundtrack- possible meaning

I think a lot of it is self explanatory.

A lot depends if indeed the tracks are in the correct listing as far as first time they are heard, so some tracks could be played more than once,  for example say 25 minutes into the movie and then again say 1 hour into the movie.

If the list is how they are played in order, then it really does give us a bit of a clue to how the movie pans out.

Which would mean

1) Incubation is nothing to do with any Aliens.   but could be

a) Crew in Cryo-stasis and what ever else the Covenant is carrying thats on ICE

b) A shot of David/Walter first being released from his incubator

b) Shaw in Cryo-sleep

3) Neutrino burst  these are tiny tiny particles that are abundant in the Galaxy and we are even getting bombarded by them as i type this.

The only way these can fit into any context to the Movie, is as these particles are hard to detect... a Large Mass Release of them would be easy to detect and this points us to either a Super Nova Event or Black Hole but who knows if this comes into play as such.

It could be simply a Incident that Causes the Covenant Crew to Awaken.   Maybe a long shot is they enter a Worm Hole or such.

Glad you pointed that out, the songs could be played more than once, and the songs might not be in order either.

I would Label this Thread with SPOILER...

For now i am going to mention Key Elements/Scenes that are in the movie, none of these are 100% Spoilers as they are information we have available from Trailers, Comments by Cast/Crew and Set Reports.

The Order may not be like this, so this is a example.

1) Prologue Scene between Weyland and David (discus about Creation, Perfection, Death, Gods, Mortality and Immortality).

2) Covenant Ship in Space, and then some Event that causes them to have to come out of Cyro-sleep.  Possibly explain why Oram (Crudup) becomes Captain.

3) The detection of a Signal of Human Origin that comes from David/Shaw and you can bet the New Captain decides to go there instead of their intended destination.

4) Have scenes of the Crew interacting as they arrive at Paradise, which will no doubt be a way to introduce us to them and also include Daniels and Walter in the Terraforming bay.  And then lead to Daniels Questioning the Decision of Oram.

5) The Drop Ship departs for the Surface and then they land and discover the Wheat Field and notice there are no signs of Life.

6) The moment Rigby is infected by the Spores

7) The crew make their way up the Mountain Side but then Rigby becomes ill and he is taken back to the Drop Ship.

8) The moment the crew then head up and enter the Juggernaught, while we flash to Rigby (Ricks)  being brought back.  Then back to discovery of Shaws Dog Tag and Hologram.

9) The whole Medbay Scene which would include Farris trying to get hold of the Crew, and also Covenant (maybe being ordered to Quarantine Rigby).  And then the Back Buster Attack.

10) Takes us to a scene where likely they leave (or some do) the Juggernaught and at this point another crew (Hallet or Ledwood) member is infected and we see the other Spore Infection.

11) Oram then realizes what is next and leaves to the Drop Ship as fast as he can with Rosentnal and Ankor only to arrive as Farris Blows the Ship up.

12) Maybe* Daniels, Walter with either Ledwood or Hallet (bets on Ledwood), Lope, make there way to the Cathedral first by finding Dead Engineers and then they enter the underground Big Head Room.

13) Maybe* Some of the Crew are attacked in the field (Oram Rosentnal and Ankor  but are rescued by David).

*Maybe these scenes happen in either order.

14) Oram and Ankor are taken on a guided Tour of where David is held up,  while Rosentnal is cleaning her wounds and she is attacked by a Neomorph or something else and screams.  As this is happening Ankor goes back maybe?, while David shows Oram all of his Experiments and takes him into the Cave with the Eggs and gets him Face Hugged,  then Ankor runs into the same room fends off a Face Hugger and runs into the Work Shop to be attacked by a Xenomorph* (he could be running back as he hears Rosentnal scream).

15) Daniels, and Walter with Ledwood and Lope are ambushed by Aliens and make it to the Cathedral, where they find David.

16) This is where a lot of shots we not seen happens, and between Walter and David before we get the Flash Back of what happened to the Engineers. (but we could get this from David before the Aliens attack).

17) We see the Chest Buster.

18) Back to what ever David, Walter and Daniels are up to.

19) They make their escape after finding out David is up to no good, and call in the Covenant for a Rescue.   Lope, Walter and Daniels fight off Aliens.   Lope gets killed.

20) Tennessee comes to rescue but Daniels has to fend off a Xenomorph on the Cargo Loader Ship.

21) Daniels, Tennessee and Walter arrive on the Covenant and think they have put the events past them.  And we see a moment of reflection.

22) Cole and Upworth decide to take a Shower and make out, as Daniels, Tennessee and Walter decide to leave Paradise and head to their Original Destination.  Cole and Upworth are attacked in the Shower.  Daniels and Tennessee try and contain the Alien and Walter/David is trying to contain it by controlling the ships Doors to corner it.

23) We have them try and blow up the Alien but it causes a breach, they have to Suit up and then head to the Terra-forming Bay, where Eventually they rid of the Alien.

24) The survivors are relieved and ask Walter/David if the Coast is Clear, and he confirms its now Safe.

25) We get the survivors prepare for their next journey and then we may get a Plot Twist and Set up Ending.

I think we could be seeing 2-3 more Scenes on-top of that and so of these 25 Scenes/Events i think 23 of them we are all ready aware of for sure.

So the Trailers etc allowed us to piece together SADLY 70% of the Movie.

"Payload Deployment" has me wondering if the rumor is true and that we are indeed going to get a flashback of David 'ampule bombing' the Engineer civilization. 

"Neutrino burst" is prob the death of the Engineers on the planetoid.

Davids interactions with Walter, which is being kept under wraps

Shawmorph or another creation or will we just see Shaw Breadcrumbs 

Whoever is left from David or Walter, prefferably David or a David upgrade to Walters shell, will he just impregnate the last survivors who thought they had made it?

David or Walter have control of the ship and its cargo, but do the company have control back or God David, or does mother Daniels win?

Ridders did want Ripley's head bitten off originally?

@BigDave What do you mean "sadly"? If that's the movie, and we still aren't going to be absolutely sure, the so what? I STILL CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT, and I know neither can you!

I guess on one hand i mean its a bit sad that there does not seem to be so much meat on the bones and we have already seen most of that meat.

I am not 100% sure on the order i put down those scenes i would say i got the order about 75% right, if i try to look at them in depth and then tie in to the Sound Track Listing then maybe i can do a bit of shuffling.

I am just a bit disapointed in the direction the Prometheus Sequel had taken, it seems after Fox witnessed the amass of Interest in Alien 5 as opposed to finding out about Shaw and the Engineeers, Fox and Ridley felt they had to change things.

Even Ridleys comment "they want Aliens, ill give them F-ing Aliens" seems to tie in to that.

I have to just look at the movie as it sounds, and i think it could be a decent Pop Corn Flick and this now seems to be the AVPR to what AVP was (if AVP was Prometheus) but we can just hope they do a better job of the Plot at hand.  (AVPR could have been decent if it was written different lol).

I have concerns for how the clues look now, and i have a worry that this Movie while trying to please Prometheus Fans and Alien Fans could end up actually disappointing both sets of fans in a Big Way..

Leaving the 1986 Aliens and 1997 Alien Resurrection Fans pleased with the similar kind of Fodder.

But Alas.... we can still HOPE

The scenes i have listed can all be made out from Trailers and TV Spots there is not much that i have added to any of them.

So we have to look at what Scenes they have not shown us yet,  and we have to Hope they have kept away totally different scenes that are not related to the Trailers.

For example, seeing a Chest Buster run off and then appear as a stage between Chest Buster and Adult Xenomorph is for sure likely to be a scene but its a scene that we know would logically happen.

So my hope is for other Scenes that the Trailers have totally not covered yet,  and the Cinemacon Juggernaught Scene is one of those, that however is now known to most fans who check on the progress of the movie.

So i am kind of thinking what Scenes we have not even had any glimpse at are we going to see, i think there is potential for some surprise scenes.

But i do fear as those 25 scenes listed are very very likely all in the movie or very very similar, when you consider the time on screen they take up i fear we would only be left with 30-40 minutes of Scenes we have not seen in the Trailers.

Those Scenes would include what happens at the End after they get rid of the Aliens, and the Scene just prior to the Trailer Shot of the cloaked figure walking up to the Cathedral.

Take these out and we looking at like 25-30 minutes and we have to assume half of this will take up the joining of the other scenes i listed in my earlier post.

But i will still go and see the movie based on its own Merits and if i go in not expecting great things, i may leave pleasantly surprised.

HOWEVER......

As odd as it seems, for me its the scenes and parts that leave Questions and remain ambiguous that i am looking forwards to, as these will give us the most debates on here..

And give us something to look forwards to being covered in the next few movies.

Hopefully they wont lead to being underused or not even covered like how AC will with Prometheus and its questions.

I do have hope however, as it appears AC is indeed a aftermath movie and Awakening will shed some light on the goings on between Prometheus and Alien Covenant.
