Here's one of my absolute favorite homages to Alien. Cowboy Bepop Session 11 "Toys in the Attic". Awesome nods to Alien, Aliens, and 2001 A Space Odyssey.
This might appeal to fans whom are into the biblical angles of the franchise (bonus: cameo from Pac Man ghosts):
