I don't watch much tele, but this puzzle sounds fun. The basic stab would be  the Trilogy with each being separated by 4 spaces possibly nodding to the 4th- Resurrection.

What was the actual answer?

Yes, that’s the correct answer: A____ Resurrection.

I had to wait for the third clue before I got it (the actual question was: what’s 4th in this sequence, with the clues revealed one by one). It’s not called TV’s hardest quiz for nothing!

It's easy to see how it could be difficult for anyone unfamiliar with the franchise.

Maybe Difficult for some of the  Writers they Hired in the Franchise too ;)
