Aliens: Dark Descent final boss

Damn it, I shouldn't have looked but I wanted to post something new on the Alien Forums

Are you really sure those are the engineers/space jockeys? 'Cause they don't look anything like 'em and they ain't got no legs. So, that creature we see at the end of the campaign also doesn't have legs, which makes me think it ain't the engineers. Some folks might argue it's the space jockey, but since Ridley Scott shot down that idea, I wouldn't be too confident about it.

It looks interesting, I wonder what that orange thing is?
